I have had a hard gtime finding the right picture.. I decided to double-up :D..

The tree below is an inspriation because it shows how an old tree has horizontal branching, and effectively only very few main branches. The tree in itself is balanced and almost perfectly symmetrical. In the baclgroun is a big tree, which is actually a group of 3 trees.

This group of trees, living on a little hill nearby mij hometown, is very inspirational for a bonsai-enthusiast.
The hill is a grave-mound in which people in ancient times buried their deceased.
It's a little forest on a kind of an "island" in the landscape.
Wonderfull to see the different shapes of the trees and the structure of the branches.
It is absolutely astonishing to see these trees in all the different seasons throughout the year.
Just imagine a flat undeep bonsai pot underneath the picture and discover the true meaning of bonsai, even in nature!

The second picture shows my own creation of a Larix forest, inspired by these wonderfull trees in the woods in my home town in the Netherlands.
Both pictures were taken yesterday.
