Should I repot after buying a store bought bonsai? was created by serissamain

I recently read an article that informed me about the soil quality of store bought bonsai. I heard that they provide soil that keeps the bonsai damp for the transition from nursery to store. Does that mean I should repot after purchasing the bonsai? I have a serissa and those things are known for how difficult they are to repot. If it matters I bought my bonsai at bunnings. Also people say that I should be careful with training wire on serissa. So what should I do when I want to shape my bonsai?

Hello...
I would wait the best season to do so... What I've seen is that Serissas are more often shaped by prunning, wiring just the trunk for a movement or main branches maybe, there's also the traction technique...

The trees are not repotted into another substrate before shipping. They come in the same substrate they have been produced in nothing else. Most bonsai artists prefere a more inorganic mix, but the idea that the trees cannot grow in the organic mix they come in is just pure wrong. They do grow fine in that mix, however care is slightly different. Longer intervalls between watering and less water when watering.
